Introducing "Waiting (in)courage"

Growing up, Valentine's Day was a beautiful, special day. In our house it wasn't so much a Hallmark holiday or exclusively romantic, but an opportunity to shower friends and family with love. Flowers graced the house, meals were thoughtfully personalized, notes of love and appreciation filled our hearts. A day of love--don't we all need those more often? 

Whatever you're doing this Valentine's Day, I hope you gather with people you love, share some laughs, a special meal, and know that you are deeply loved. 

On this note of gathering, I am really excited to tell you about new happenings--new opportunities for women to come together in friendship and love--over at (in)courage. 

Through www.incourage.me, a beautiful website linking the hearts of women with Christ and each other, virtual community groups are launching today! I am humbled to announce that I am co-leading a group for women struggling with infertility called "Waiting (in)courage." This will be the second session of community groups through (in)courage, but the first for women under this topic! Wherever you are in life, whatever your heart needs, other women are right there with you and need your friendship, too. It's been so fun to get to know my co-leader, Aurie, who lives in New Jersey and blogs at http://ourgoodfamily.org. She is a pastor's wife and mother of two miracle babies who enjoys scrapbooking, knitting, and sewing. I am grateful for her tremendous faith and tender heart for women and children. God is up to good things! Here are the details of our group and how you or someone you know can "meet up" with us:

Waiting (in)courage is a special niche for women struggling with infertility. Everyone needs a warm place to gather, be understood, and belong. At Waiting (in)courage we understand the hearts of women longing for children and we invite you to come share your stories, hear ours, and be encouraged by the promises, power, and love of our Lord. No length of time with infertility is too short or too long! You were placed on our hearts and in our path for a reason: we need you and you need us! Walk with us at Waiting (in)courage and experience a harvest of healing and hope.

What you can expect:
  *To meet other women who know the pain and frustration of infertility.
  *Support for the way you are navigating IF. period. (treatments, medical intervention, foster care or adoption, initial or continued fertility testing, waiting, etc.) 
  *Monthly group "meetings" in a safe, loving space where we can be real and extend grace. 
  *To receive encouragement and communication regularly through the group's private Facebook group. 
  *To be refreshed by a community who loves, prays, celebrates, and understands.
